Missing Jane

Much time has passed and I still wonder how my dear Jane is doing. This separation has been growing increasingly wearisome on my heart and I have yet to wonder what will become of this love with us so far apart. I have been having a fairly good time in London meeting all sorts of new people. I am starting to have some growing suspicions as to why Darcy advocated my staying in London so adamantly though I am confused on the matter.

  1. Mr. Bingley,
You do not want to involve yourself with the Bennet family. Jane is not worth all the trouble that comes along with marrying her. Her mother is ignorant and crazy. And her father does not have anything close to what we have. They are socially below us, and always will be. You have not been together long enough to be too attached to her. Let her go and look for someone else. You can do much better.
    Your friend,
    Mr. Darcy

  2. Mr.Bingley,
I would like to let you know that Jane is doing well. Regardless of what Mr. Darcy is telling you, Jane is perfect for you. The two of you seemed so happy at the balls and whenever you were together. Our social standings have nothing to do with yours and my sister's love for one another.
