Lydia and Wickham

All I know is that Elizabeth and the Gardiner's rushed to Longbourne to try and find Lydia. The entire Bennet family is now on the verge of a breakdown over Lydia eloping to Wickham as everyone found out by the letter left for Colonel Foster's wife. I can only hope and pray that Lydia will come to her senses and realize what she is doing.

Problems With Wickham

I have heard that Lydia might not marry Wickham. This could be detrimental to the Bennet family without a doubt. Elizabeth and Darcy both apologized to each other for keeping Wickham's secrets quiet and now are rushing back to Longbourne. I still have not been able to see Jane as I greatly miss her.

Dining at Pemberley

Today I visited Elizabeth at her inn accompanied by Darcy and his sister Georgiana. I was able to chat with Elizabeth briefly and then we invited her and the Gardiners to dine at Pemberley. I wish I was able to see Jane a midst all of this but I am extremely joyful to be back in Derbyshire. I have noticed my sister making spiteful comments towards Elizabeth about the Wickham situation and I do not think it would be wise to intervene.

Arrival at Pemberley

In one day I will make my arrival at Darcy's residence in Pemberley. I cannot wait to see everyone that I have left behind. I know that the Gardiniers and Elizabeth will be present so that should make for an interesting time. I have received word from my wonderful friend Darcy that Elizabeth decided to show up to Pemberley even after what had happened between them months before. I am hoping that Darcy will mend his relationship with Elizabeth so that something good might come of it.

What's going on in Derbyshire?

Elizabeth met with Wickham and didn't bring up anything that she had found out about him. I think it is a little humorous that Elizabeth would take a tour of Darcy's residence at Pemberley because he was not present. I am still spending my time here in London and think of my wonderful Jane quite often. I have heard that the soldiers have been traveling from Meryton to Brighton and one could guess that some of the Bennet girls are attempting to follow them.

Conflictions Regarding Wickham

I am curious to know how Jane took learning the truth about Wickham from Elizabeth. It is a good thing that they have decided to keep it to themselves. I have heard rumors of Mrs. Bennet grieving over my departure to London and am starting to regret Darcy talking me into leaving Jane. I feel that I might come back to Derbyshire one day and catch up with the Bennets and everyone else.

Leaving London

Elizabeth and Jane have unfortunately decided to leave the Gardiner's residence in London. I am extremely sad to hear this news because I had wished for Jane to stay longer in London. Lydia seems to be taking some liking to Wickham as she is excited to find out that he is not interested in Miss King. I truly hope Catherine and Lydia will grow up and stop chasing the officers everywhere they go as they wish to go to Meryton.

Leaving Rosings

I notice that everyone is preparing for their departure at Rosings. Darcy and Colonel Fitzwilliam have left and so has Elizabeth. I find it hilarious that Collins would insist to Elizabeth that himself and Charlotte are a great fit for one another. This I find extremely preposterous as I am sure Elizabeth does as well. I am still here in London and have not heard too much from the Bennet's unfortunately.

My Realizations

I understand that my feelings for Jane are strong and true. However, I believe that Darcy has my best interests in mind. He is correct about how the Bennet family has nothing compared to what I have. While I don't care much for social status I do agree that marrying Jane might not be as beneficial as my heart tells me.

Conflictions

I have been facing extraordinarily tough conflictions within my emotional being. Darcy has sufficiently convinced me that staying in London is the right move to make in terms of my well-being but I fear that he is only concerned of financial and social matters. Deep down I truly love Jane but at the same time I wonder if he could be correct regarding this matter. Nonetheless my eyes have been opened of Darcy's intentions for his pushing me to travel to London.

Missing Jane

Much time has passed and I still wonder how my dear Jane is doing. This separation has been growing increasingly wearisome on my heart and I have yet to wonder what will become of this love with us so far apart. I have been having a fairly good time in London meeting all sorts of new people. I am starting to have some growing suspicions as to why Darcy advocated my staying in London so adamantly though I am confused on the matter.

My time in London

It is a beautiful morning here in London. I have left my estate at Netherfield Park and plan to stay in London for a while. I greatly miss Jane's touch and kind-hearted presence for it has been much too long since I have been able to see her. My love for Jane continues to grow each day though it is extremely tough being separated from her.
